Visitors who look skyward at San Diego's Wild Animal Park are now seeing more than the usual assortment of exotic birds. Up in the sky about six stories above the brown hillside is a new kind of flying species soaring overhead at about 40 miles per hour, swooping to a sudden stop atop a platform the park has built especially for the species' arrival.

Once a solitary ... Once a solitary male lion has killed/defeated pride leader, he kills all the cubs. He does this to destroy any lineage from the defeated lion. He'll then take over the pride. Lions are always on guard for solitary lions that want to kill their cubs. Killer whales toss? around sea lions, to death, all for their own amusement. It's a game to them.
